Music
Music at PCUUC runs the gamut from secular to southern spiritual to earth-centered to meditative. The entire congregation joins in on spirit music at the beginning of many services. The gathering of many voices facilitates the gathering of souls to begin the Sunday service experience together.
The PCUUC choir plays an important role in congregational life. With a musical offering at least twice monthly and a year-end choir-led service each year, the congregation embraces the music that is shared. Other musicians, not regularly part of the choir, supplement the music program at PCUUC.
A special UU music festival is held bi-annually in concert with other area UU congregations and always proves to be a wonderful experience.
PCUUC choir rehearsals on Wednesday evenings are regarded with serious fun and singers always look forward to gathering in song and laughter. All are welcome. There are no auditions, no qualifications--except one--the love of singing with others.
